Williamsburg is a wonderful place to live. James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, are all considered The Historic Triangle, in short, Williamsburg. It's a little confusing. They all have Williamsburg Zip Codes: 23188, 23185, 23168. When searching, you must use the county name in addition to Williamsburg to see the whole area or to be safe, search by zip code.

Norge, Croaker, and Lanexa are located slightly north of Williamsburg, all are considered "Upper James City County." If you are looking for more land, country settings, very little HOA's or no HOA (Home Owners Association) and waterfront property, Croker, Norge, or Lanexa are where you want to look. The Zip Code for Lanexa is 23089. Most of Crocker and Norge is 23168. Water surrounds that area. You can find waterfront property in Williamsburg also, this area is just a little more Rural.

Williamsburg is located approximately 37 miles from Norfolk and Hampton, also referred to as The Peninsula or Hampton Roads. Richmond is approximately 48 miles north of Williamsburg.
