Williamsburg is a wonderful place to live. James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, are all considered The Historic Triangle, in short, Williamsburg. It's a little confusing. They all have Williamsburg Zip Codes: 23188, 23185, 23168. When searching, you must use the county name in addition to Williamsburg to see the whole area or to be safe, search by zip code.
Norge, Croaker, and Lanexa are located slightly north of Williamsburg, all are considered "Upper James City County." If you are looking for more land, country settings, very little HOA's or no HOA (Home Owners Association) and waterfront property, Croker, Norge, or Lanexa are where you want to look. The Zip Code for Lanexa is 23089. Most of Crocker and Norge is 23168. Water surrounds that area. You can find waterfront property in Williamsburg also, this area is just a little more Rural.
Williamsburg is located approximately 37 miles from Norfolk and Hampton, also referred to as The Peninsula or Hampton Roads. Richmond is approximately 48 miles north of Williamsburg. We're right in the middle. There are other great areas surrounding Williamsburg and you can search all of them here also!

We had challenges with time-frames and other items as regards coordinating selling our home in Michigan and depending on Brenda to represent us in Virginia. One of the major obstacles was that the home were purchasing was a "Sale by Buyer", handled by an Executor for an estate, who also was out of town. Brenda worked with us though four quick trips to Virginia and her tireless efforts were fruitful. We are elated with our home. We feel that Brenda is a new and caring friend. It is clear that Brenda's efforts are not based on a quest for income as much as it is a calling she feels to assist others.
We found her on the internet and struck gold. Brenda was on top of everything from the very beginning. She was in contact with us constantly, we never had to stress about getting our calls returned or not having the information we needed. She was happy to meet with us to show the home to family members after we had the contract in. We ended up buying the first home we looked at in person. Brenda repeatedly made sure we were okay with that and didn't want to continue looking - she wasn't looking for a quick sale, but a happy client. Brenda has been in contact with us twice since we closed on the home to see how things are going. I would highly recommend Brenda to anyone searching for a new home. I know you will be happy and extremely impressed!
She was always available day or night to answer questions and follow up on both listings we wanted to see, as well as those we had seen. She worked hard to find us the best house, in the area we wanted, for the money we wanted to spend. Brenda always made sure we were not being taken advantage of. She paid special attention to every detail when we were closing the deal on the home we purchased. Not only would Brenda's skills and talent be valuable to anybody buying or selling their home, but she is truly someone worth knowing.
